As usual, Gardena did a fantastic job with this design. This nozzle provides a super-efficient variable spray pattern, from tight stream to ultra wide cone and everything in between. It is made of super-rugged construction. As long as you don’t slam it against a hard surface, it should last for many years.

I bought this exact nozzle last year, it was stored by itself in the garage in the winter, and when I wanted to use it, it leaked badly like if something inside broke… But Ib like the design so I got another one.

It’s barely OK. The only reason I didn’t give it only 1 star is I haven’t overwintered it yet, so can’t tell about frost-proofness. But I’ve had some old Gardena nozzles for decades and they were simple and easy to operate and provided a good, stream of easily adjustable spray. This one seems like it might have a small chunk of something clogging it because the water is not in an even pattern, and it goes from puny and inadequate to too strong without much in between. Normally I put my nozzles away when I’m finished watering because I don’t want them stolen, but this one I’ve left out. What a disappointment to spend so much money on something that doesn’t work well at all.
